You’ve felt overlooked and forgotten – but your story isn’t over!

Your Story Isn’t Over: God Is Rewriting Your Life

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

Have you ever felt overlooked, forgotten, or as though life passed you by?

Perhaps you’ve spent years carrying the weight of rejection, heartbreak, disappointment, or uncertainty about your purpose. Maybe you’ve smiled on the outside while silently wondering, “God, is there more for my life?”

If so, I want you to hear this today:

Your story is not over.

God has not forgotten you. He sees every tear you’ve cried, every prayer you’ve whispered, and every battle you’ve fought. Even when you couldn’t see Him working, He was faithfully writing a new chapter for your life.

When Your Past Feels Bigger Than Your Future

Many women spend years carrying invisible wounds.

You may have experienced childhood trauma, rejection, divorce, abandonment, or relationships that left you questioning your worth. Those painful experiences often become the lens through which we see ourselves.

You may find yourself believing lies such as:

  • “I’m not enough.”
  • “I wasn’t chosen.”
  • “I’ve missed my opportunity.”
  • “It’s too late for me.”
  • “I’ll always struggle.”
  • “No one really sees me.”

Over time, these thoughts become strongholds that keep us living beneath the life God intended.

But here’s the good news:

God never defines you by what happened to you.

He defines you by who you are in Him.

Your Identity Is Found in Christ

The world may label you by your failures, mistakes, or painful experiences, but Heaven calls you something entirely different.

In Christ, you are:

  • Chosen
  • Loved
  • Accepted
  • Redeemed
  • Forgiven
  • Valuable
  • Called with purpose

Your past may explain your pain, but it does not determine your destiny.

God’s plans for your life have always been greater than the disappointments you’ve experienced.

My Story of Healing

There was a season in my own life when rejection shaped how I saw myself.

I experienced childhood wounds, walked through divorce, and spent years battling fear and insecurity. I often felt unseen, unloved, and unsure of my purpose.

But everything began to change when I chose to believe God’s Word over my circumstances.

As I spent time in His presence, He began healing my heart and renewing my mind. I discovered that my identity wasn’t rooted in what people had done to me—it was rooted in Christ.

God showed me that He wasn’t finished with my story.

And if He could restore my life, He can restore yours too.

Faith Changes Everything

Healing begins when we stop agreeing with our past and start agreeing with God’s promises.

Faith says:

  • My past is not my future.
  • God is still working.
  • My best days are ahead.
  • I have purpose.
  • I am deeply loved.
  • God can redeem every painful chapter.

Romans 8:28 reminds us:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (KJV)

Notice it says all things—even the painful ones.

Nothing you’ve experienced is wasted in God’s hands.

Renew Your Mind with God’s Truth

One of the greatest steps toward healing is learning to replace lies with truth.

Instead of believing:

“I’m not enough.”

Declare:

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)

Instead of believing:

“No one wants me.”

Declare:

“I am chosen and deeply loved by God.”

Instead of believing:

“I’ll never change.”

Declare:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV)

Transformation begins one thought at a time.

As your mind is renewed by God’s Word, your life begins to change.

You Were Never Meant to Walk Alone

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.

God designed us to grow in community, encouragement, accountability, and truth.

That’s why I created the Girl Elevate Mentorship—a safe, faith-filled community where women 30+ can heal from rejection, discover their God-given identity, renew their minds, strengthen their faith, and confidently walk in their purpose.

Inside the mentorship, you’ll receive practical biblical teaching, encouragement, live coaching, and a community of women who understand your journey.

You’re not just learning information.

You’re experiencing transformation.

Reflection Questions

Take a few quiet moments with the Lord and ask yourself:

  • What painful chapter am I still allowing to define me?
  • What lie have I believed about myself for too long?
  • What does God say about my identity?
  • What would change if I truly believed His promises?

Write your answers in a journal and invite the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where He wants to bring healing.

A Prayer

Father,

Thank You for reminding me that my story is not over. Thank You that You are a God of redemption, restoration, and new beginnings.

Heal every place in my heart that has been wounded by rejection, fear, disappointment, and loss. Help me release every lie that has kept me stuck and replace it with the truth of Your Word.

Teach me to see myself the way You see me. Give me courage to walk forward in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for my good.

Thank You that my past no longer defines me because my identity is found in Christ.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Don’t Be Afraid to Shoot Your Shot!💫

God has placed a seed in each of us, and He expects a harvest. You were born with gifts and talents to make a contribution to society that is unique to you. It's not what you have in your hand that makes you rich, but what you conceive in your mind.  If you can see it, you can have it.  Because it's really already done.  Before the foundation of the world, God created us in Him, and He gave us everything we would ever need for this life.  When you come to the realization of who you are in CHRIST, you begin to function at maximum capacity. At that moment, you subconsciously step into your destiny.  It's new to you, but the whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:19). You don't have to think about it; you just become who God designed you to be on earth. Now, God daily downloads insights, concepts, and ideas that He expects us to create.  They are given to us in seed form.  This is the contribution se...

Want to Hear God Better? Try these 3 Steps.

Points of Decision to increase your ability to hear  God more clearly. Walking by faith is a daily decision to take God at His Word. It’s not based on what we see but rather what God’s Word says, and choosing to believe it, no matter what you see in the natural realm.  Everything starts with a decision, and change comes as a result of discipline and consistency. We learn God’s Voice by building our prayer life. Stick with it even if you miss days. Eventually, you’ll become used to the process. It takes time.  Pray more, build your lifestyle around prayer, and make a commitment to put God first and make your prayer life a priority. Pray at times when it’s inconvenient, building a new altar unto God through your commitment and consistency in prayer. You will begin to see results over time.  Begin to journal your thoughts and any new revelations that God gives you, as well as the answers to your prayers and what you are learning during this process. You will begin am...

Sis, You Deserve that Same LOVE that you give away!🌸

Rejection changes how you see yourself. It convinces you to settle, shrink, and accept treatment beneath your worth. Low self-esteem grows when you keep giving others permission to handle you in ways God never intended. But here’s the truth: you teach people how to treat you by what you accept. And if you’ve been accepting less, it’s because somewhere inside, you’ve believed you were less. The Word says, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:30–31). You can’t love others well when you don’t honor the woman in the mirror. It’s time to choose differently. Make a commitment to love yourself — intentionally, boldly, unapologetically. Set a new standard. Treat yourself like someone who is loved, valued, and chosen by God. Because you are. Start acting like it: Take yourself out. Feed your body better. Move your body and strengthen it. Create routines that protect your peace and elevate your mindset. It starts with a decision, then a plan, then consistency. As ...
